1. What this service is

Stump Removal Service is an independent information and referral service operated by comnect UG (haftungsbeschränkt) (see Legal Notice). We publish researched stump-removal price information and, on your request, connect you with one vetted local contractor. We do not perform tree or stump work ourselves and are not a party to any contract between you and a contractor.

2. Estimates are informational

All prices and ranges shown on this site — including the output of the estimate tool — are researched, non-binding estimates. The actual price is set solely by the contractor after assessing the job on site. We make no promise that a contractor will match any figure shown here.

3. Your request

By submitting the request form you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, that you are the person whose contact details you enter, and that you consent to being contacted as described in the form and our Privacy Policy. Submitting a request is free and creates no obligation to hire anyone.

4. Contractors

Contractors we refer are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing, insurance, pricing, scheduling, and workmanship. Any agreement about work is concluded directly between you and the contractor. We are not liable for the performance, quality, or outcome of their work.

5. Acceptable use

You may not submit false requests, enter another person's contact details without their permission, scrape or republish the site's researched content at scale, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to damages caused by intent or gross negligence, and — in cases of simple negligence — to the breach of essential contractual duties, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of free service. Mandatory statutory liability (including for injury to life, body, or health) remains unaffected.

7. Intellectual property

The content of this site, including the researched city data, texts, and design, is protected. Personal, non-commercial use is welcome; systematic reproduction requires our permission.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; the current version with its date always applies and is published on this page.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the state in which you reside remain unaffected.
